Quote of the Week
“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
- Mahatma Gandhi
Learning a language may feel like forever, encompassing all the vocabularies, phrases, and sentence structures of a language. However, language acquisition is not meant to be done over a week: it is a lifelong journey. There will always be new phrases and sayings to learn. As you learn, you even get to be the speaker that shapes the language over time! As you are continuing your language learning this week, keep this quote by Gandhi in mind. Learn diligently, as if you were to live forever.
